During the last week of April, I had the chance to stay in Paris for a relaxing weekend, and took these photos.
After the first dinner in Paris, a friend of ours doing her master’s here led our way to Sacré-Cœur. We passed by the Square Nadar, which is said to be one of the best places to overlook the Effiel Tower. It’s hard to not agree. It’s indeed a pretty good view.
And it turned out I’m not the only one enjoying the great landscape there.
After sunset, we took a bus down the hill, through the city, right to the side of Seine.
Mona Lisa and Art Quizzes
I’m really happy I didn’t miss Le Louvre. I’m even happier I didn’t have to pay to enter (I’m under 26).
I didn’t know the glass pyramid was actually an entrance to the foyer underground, through which the three buildings of Louvre are connected.
It seemed she was pretty popular.
No wonder she needed to be hiding behind the glass and body guards.
I’m disappointed that I missed the cake scene, though.
But whatever, cuz it’s QUIZ TIME!!!!!
Before we go, there’s of course something we can’t afford to miss out. (?)
Nearly spending a whole day there, I had barely seen a sixth of it. Coming here again (probably before I turn 26) and finishing the rest is already on my todo list.
Taking off from the museum, before sunrise, we arrived the last stop of being a qualified tourist.
See those people on the top of the Arc De Triomphe? I’m gonna join them in a second.
For those who are not a big fan of crowdy touristy places, Paris seems also a great place to stroll around.
